Remember moments Of memories past Fading in and out Dissolving into mist The days seem to get shorter Weeks to months to years The color it turns silver The sparkle it dimmed This is not what I imagined Someone tell me I'm wrong There's just too much left to do My God my spirit is still strong I struggle to recall There's aches in this shell Was everything just an illusion Only time will tell What was I thinking I can't remember now How did I get into this place Have I been forgotten It shouldn't be like this I'm still the same person I know who I am But I just don't know you I don't know how I got here I couldn't have been forgotten This just isn't right I'm too young for this Years have gone by My reflection has changed Where are those I once loved My God where am I

about

I am pleased to bring you my newest studio album, Limitless! The songs on this album represent humanities tenacity to push past what we once viewed as limitations. Whether it's achieving breakthroughs in medicine, flying, visiting other planets and beyond, the more we break the cycle of believing we have limits, the more we will move forward.

The song, Willows Over Water, almost never made it to this album. It's an ambient composition that came to be from the urging of my best friend, KC Lyon. Of course, after that song was created, the request for a full ambient album was made. Maybe sometime in the future I'll work on that. I originally made the song for KC to enjoy and I had no plans to ever release it. However, it ended up becoming part of this album. I feel it's placement as #6 on the track list offers a little break before listening to the second half of the album. In addition, KC lent his vocals for the song, Quest of the Vox Man, which is actually about him. KC sings in a few metal bands, and he has been on an ongoing quest to perfect his vocals. However, I seem to be the only one who can get him to sing soft vocals.... of which he does beautifully!

The song, Time Will Tell, was created to bring awareness of those suffering from Alzheimer's disease. Throughout my whole life, from as early as I could understand what the illness was, I would hear heartbreaking stories of the elderly stricken with Alzheimer's placed in a nursing home and forgotten. Never to be visited, spoken to, hugged or loved anymore. Stories like that just tear me up. A Mother, Father, Sister, Brother... no matter who it is, each life is precious, and everyone deserves to be remembered and loved.

Also included is a remix of my song, September, which was originally released on my first album, “Flight of Tomorrow” (which is now unpublished). I had wanted to revisit this song for some time, make a few changes, add a little and take a little away. I felt this would be the best album to release a mild remix of it.

To hope the music on this album finds you when you need it and inspires you to keep pushing forward. The future is waiting for all of us, and it just takes a bit of determination and imagination to become truly, limitless.

Stay Awesome Everyone!

-Maria
